Megan Schaeffer

Growth Marketing Manager

Megan Schaeffer is Growth Marketing Manager at Artlogic, the business platform for galleries, artists and collectors, where she leads storytelling-led, full-funnel marketing across paid, owned and earned channels.

Before her marketing career, Schaeffer built a career directly inside the art world. She holds a BA in Arts Management from the College of Charleston and completed the Sotheby's Institute of Fine Art program in Gallery Management and Curatorial Studies. Her early roles included Outreach Coordinator for Artist & Craftsman Supply, studio assistant to classical realist painter Jill Hooper, and curator and exhibitions manager at Jericho Arts, where she curated and managed more than 20 exhibitions. She also co-founded the Charleston chapter of Creative Mornings, a lecture series for the creative community. She went on to become Art Farm Director at Serenbe, a luxury wellness community, where she planned and executed more than 200 arts-focused events in under three years and built out its arts marketing program.

Since 2020, Schaeffer has also run her own consultancy, Hamilton Schaeffer Studio, providing branding, digital strategy and marketing for fine artists and small businesses – work that runs alongside her operating role.

That combination – curatorial training, hands-on gallery and exhibition production, and full-funnel marketing execution – gives Schaeffer a genuinely rare grounding: she has built exhibitions and run arts programming herself, not just marketed software to people who do. Her writing for Artlogic draws on that dual perspective, in support of Artlogic's broader mission of helping galleries, artists and collectors thrive.
