Since 2012, BEERS London has forged a reputation as one of London’s leading spaces for cutting-edge contemporary painting. The gallery champions emerging and mid-career international artists across a diverse range of styles and genres. Led by Gallery Director Kurt Beers, author of 100 Painters of Tomorrow (2014) and 100 Sculptors of Tomorrow (2019), the gallery continues to grow its international profile, including upcoming residency programs and collaborative projects. A client of Artlogic for a number of years, BEERS London integrates technology into its ethos of celebrating exceptional contemporary painting.

Challenge
Prior to adopting Artlogic, BEERS London operated its digital presence through a WordPress website. While adequate for a basic online showcase, the system lacked the functionality to support the complexities of a growing gallery. The team struggled with inventory management and sales tracking, creating bottlenecks that consumed valuable time. As the gallery described, there was a persistent “lack of a streamlined inventory/website system,” which hindered their ability to respond quickly to client inquiries or run smooth online exhibitions.

“All inventory [is] at hand immediately even when inquiries arise at the most sporadic of times.”
Solution
BEERS London chose Artlogic for its comprehensive approach: a sleek, design-driven website for powerful gallery management. Migration to the system was “very smooth,” and the platform immediately simplified core processes. Centralizing core information and eliminating the need for duplicate uploads or fragmented systems.
“An artwork only needs to be uploaded once in order to be applied onto multiple pages,” explains the team. This single entry point not only saves time but ensures accuracy across the gallery’s website, internal database, and sales materials. Sales tools quickly became a staff favorite, described as “seamless, clear, and easy to use”, allowing the team to generate professional presentations and track transactions without friction.
By providing a connected ecosystem, Artlogic mirrored the gallery’s drive for professionalism and adaptability, offering both aesthetic refinement and operational efficiency.

Results
The impact of Artlogic has been clear: BEERS London estimates saving up to five hours per week through reduced manual processes and better-organized inventory. The team can now run online exhibitions with confidence, knowing that works are accurately catalogued and instantly available.
Artlogic has also proven invaluable in high-pressure situations. At art fairs or during sudden collector inquiries, the team can pull up complete inventory details in seconds: “All inventory [is] at hand immediately even when inquiries arise at the most sporadic of times.” This agility strengthens client relationships and supports sales opportunities that might otherwise be lost.
Most importantly, Artlogic provides BEERS London with a reliable digital front that evolves with the gallery. “Would highly recommend [Artlogic] as a digital front to any gallery,” the team notes. “Sleek and professional design, ease of use, and excellent support team if any issues do occur.” With streamlined systems and responsive tools, BEERS London is equipped to continue showcasing contemporary painting at the highest level while staying agile in an ever-changing art market.
