Since launching in 2021, London Gallery Weekend has become a key cultural event which we’ve proudly supported it from the start. As it returns from 6–8 June, we’re spotlighting three standout features of the website, built by our Website Design Studio, that were designed and built to help art lovers connect with galleries during the weekend.
1. All the Exhibitions, All in One Place
With more than 130 galleries participating, many of which are presenting their most ambitious exhibitions of the year, the London Gallery Weekend website brings everything together in one seamless and beautifully designed platform.
From established spaces such as Edel Assanti, Alison Jacques, and Cristea Roberts Gallery—all proud Artlogic clients—to exciting emerging galleries across the city, the site makes it easy to discover what is on. Visitors can browse exhibitions by gallery, filter by artistic medium (including drawing, painting, installation, and photography), or explore by location, whether they are navigating South, East, West, or Central London.
This level of intuitive and curated discoverability is not just useful; it is essential. Features like this are available in Artlogic Website Design Studio websites, created to make the art world more accessible for galleries, artists, and audiences alike.
2. Plan Your Visit with a Personalized Map
One of our favorite features is the integrated map, designed specifically for London Gallery Weekend. Visitors can select the galleries and exhibitions they want to see and create a customized route that helps them navigate the city with ease. Powered by Google Maps, the map provides directions tailored to the user’s preferred mode of transport, whether walking, driving, or using public transport.
This planning tool empowers visitors to take control of their gallery-hopping experience. It turns exploration into a curated journey. We recommend using the map ahead of time to ensure a well planned out and enjoyable weekend.3. Explore Curated Routes by Artists, Writers, and Curators
For those looking for inspiration, the Curated Routes section of the website offers a series of thoughtfully crafted itineraries. These have been created by a diverse group of contributors, including curator Emma Rolls Bentley, author Enuma Okoro, and artist Jasleen Kaur.
Each contributor offers a unique perspective on the galleries and exhibitions, and their routes are brought to life through engaging editorial content and interactive maps. These guides are perfect for discovering new spaces and experiencing the event through the eyes of respected voices from the art world.Use the website to plan, explore, and discover the best of the city’s galleries: https://londongalleryweekend.art/
