This month, we’ve introduced the attach documents to multiple artworks functionality allowing for one document to be added to multiple records in just a few clicks, as well as the feature panel editor tool for Website Export clients, giving you even greater control over the design of your website.
New and Improved Features
- Attach Documents to Multiple Artworks
This feature allows users to upload and attach a document (or documents) to multiple artworks in one streamlined process.
Central Upload: Users can upload a document once and the file is stored centrally in the Documents Archive.
Attach Document(s) to Artworks: From the artwork list screen, users can use "Update Multiple" to attach uploaded document(s) to one or more artworks in a single step.
Unified Attachments List: Documents attached via this method appear in each artwork’s attachments list, alongside any files uploaded directly to that record/field.
Easy Unlinking: To remove a document from artworks, users can simply delete the corresponding record in the Documents Archive, which will unlink it from all associated artworks.
- New Advanced Search Field
Added 'Artwork Narrative Entry Date' as a new option in Artworks Advanced Search, giving you more flexibility when filtering records.
- Improved Packing Dimensions & Weight Entry
Updated the packing dimensions and weight section in artwork records to automatically convert between metric and imperial units as you type, making it easier to enter and view shipping information in your preferred format.
- Mailings UI & Workflow Improvements
Improved the Mailings experience with a cleaner campaign flow and clearer visibility of which campaigns each mailing composition belongs to, making campaign management easier.
Updates and Fixes
- Quick Search Fix
Resolved an issue where Quick Search failed when special characters were used for certain record types, ensuring more reliable searching.
- Artwork Package QR Code Fix
Fixed an issue where QR codes could not reliably be generated for artwork packages in the Location/Shipping section. QR stock management now works as expected.
- Dynamic Private Views Fixes
Applied a series of small bug fixes to improve the reliability of Dynamic Private Views.
- Artsy Artist Connection Fix
Resolved an issue where errors returned from Artsy data could prevent artists from connecting, ensuring artist records can now be linked successfully even when biographies contain flagged terms (such as 'error').
- Advanced Report Currency Fix
Fixed an issue where the Advanced Production Costs – All fields report returned blank rows if no local or default currency was set, ensuring data now displays correctly.
- Sales Tax Report Accuracy
Updated the Sales Tax Report so the Sales tax rate column now displays the full value (up to three decimal places), rather than rounding, for more precise reporting.
- Contact Importance Permissions Fix
Corrected a permissions check so only users with the correct contact importance permissions can edit this field on contact records.
- Artwork Update Multiple Field Alignment
Moved the 'Current owner' field in Update Multiple to the Artwork details dropdown, aligning it with the artwork edit screen for consistency. Note: This field remains hidden for accounts using the “contact restrictions” beta preference.
New and Improved Features
- Feature Panel Editor for Expert Plan
Clients on the Website Expert can now use the Feature Panel Editor, giving more flexibility when managing feature panels. Further details are available on our support page.
- Artwork Filter Available on Expert Plan
The Artworks Filter is now available to Website Expert clients, making it easier to filter and present artworks. More information can be found on our support page. - CAPTCHA Option for Mailing List Forms
Expert plan users can now enable CAPTCHA on mailing list forms, adding an extra layer of protection to form submissions.
- Dynamic Panel Layout Option
Added the ability to switch between a grid and a slideshow on dynamic panels, giving you more flexibility in how content is displayed.
- Improved Color Selection
Replaced manual hex code fields with color picker components, and added HTML color selector support in feature popups and core settings for easier and more accurate color selection.
Updates and Fixes
- Mailing List Form Reliability Fix
Fixed an issue where mailing list forms would fail to send when CAPTCHA was not enabled, ensuring consistent form submissions alongside other site forms. - Hosted Font Compatibility Fix
Fixed an issue where hosted fonts did not work when font records used uppercase titles, ensuring fonts now load as expected. - Related Exhibitions Support
Related exhibitions are now available across additional record types, including Press, Publications, Events, Art Fairs, and Videos, improving content linking and visibility. - Transparent Header Text Color Fix
Fixed an issue where transparent header text colors were not updating correctly on some themes, ensuring more consistent design control.
